The Oxford Jornal is named after the Portuguese word for the newspaper; a nod to Oxford’s owner, Lucas Da Silva. The Oxford Jornal is a 5 x 50 Robusto with a pigtail, Cuban-style triple cap, Nicaraguan fillers and binders, and a Habano Escurio wrapper. Each Oxford Jornal is rolled in newspapers instead of cellophane to help it age quicker yet still protecting the flawlessly rolled Nicaraguan Habano Escurio wrapper. The Oxford Jornal is a medium-bodied, full-flavored cigar smoking experience. Starting with hints of baking spices and cocoa notes, the Oxford Jornal begins nice and easy. The Oxford Jornal can be easily paired with black coffee, espresso, barrel-proof bourbon, or even sherry-finished scotch. The Jornal is a creamy experience that you don’t want to miss until the next Sunday paper arrives.

2/3 Light nuances of earthy flavors with dark chocolate finish.
3/3 Delicate pepper notes together with cocoa and caramel flavors.

I don’t even want to use the term “for the proce” here. These are great smokes regardless of price point. I bought these based on previous reviews, and I do like trying out “house blends” but I wasn’t expecting such a great stick. Great flavor, damn near perfect draw, and burned evenly. You’d be crazy not to pick up a few of these.
