I’ll say it again as I always do with the 1964 line. LET THEM REST! The longer the better they get. More sweetness, more chocolate, and they really do just get better!

Love this cigar! Padron always comes out on top when it comes to consistency and construction and this 1964 is no exception. Flavor wise, it has a rich earthy and cocoa profile with the classic padron mustiness. A winner in my book!

After lighting, the first part is the front part, which is very strong. It is so strong that I dare not pass the whole mouth through my nose. I can only pass part of it through my nose, otherwise it will irritate my nasal cavity. The taste of the first mouthful is not obvious. Then the second, third and fourth mouthfuls start to taste chocolate, hazelnut, nut, coffee, and the classic peppery taste of heavy-flavored cigars. The pepper taste lasts until the seventh or eighth mouthful, and it lasts longer than many non-Cuban cigars.

Another Perfect Padron in a perfect size. 5.5×50 is great, smooth, bold and typical cocoa, coffee spice notes one would expect. You know it’s a Padron from beginning until end which means flawless burn, construction and consistent flavour profile throughout. No abrupt transitions, more along the lines of nuanced evolutions.

I absolutely ove this vitola in 1964. Right size and always a hit. Always keep some around. If you haven’t picked one up yet you definitely should!

It’s a great cigar, but it has more rough edges to it than the 26. Where the 26 is more savory and smooth the 64 has more bite to it. That said I will never be upset about smoking this one.

I have been a big fan of the 1964 Padron Anniversary Exclusivo Maduro for years. I prefer it over the 1926 series. It is perfectly aged and smokable right out of the box.

These are simply fantastic. Perfectly constructed with a flawless burn. Little pricier than the thousand series, but worth the extra coin just due to the more complex experience. Must have!

I am going to have to do a “blind” tasting between this and the 1926 #47. Same size, and the Exclusivo is a few bucks cheaper. Great construction, even burn, pleasing mouthfeel, with notes of cocoa, coffe, and earth.

A classic Nicaraguan puro, and one of the finest cigars on the planet! Perfect combination of taste and strength. And possibly the most consistent of all Nicaraguan cigars.

Padron pra mim, em minhas experiências sempre gostei mais da linha natural, o maduro não encontro tanta evolução, mas pode ser meu paladar. Mas eu fumaria qualquer um sem problemas. Mas para comprar caixa iria na linha natural

1964 Anniversary Exclusivo Maduro, If you are too impatient to age a Padron 2000 Maduro buy the Exclusivo Maduro. It tastes like 2000 Maduro but better aged with any harsh edges well rounded off.
