Perfect draw and smooth. I really enjoy these because they’re always consistent, go GREAT with a bourbon and can be smoked in under 30 minutes. My girlfriend (who’s never seen herself as a cigar smoker) insists on having a few puffs of mine when she comes over and will pick them up for me if she spots them. Can’t go wrong with this smoke!

Less taste than where I expected, the 1964 Anniversary Principe was though a good cigar, like everything Padron does. Smooth and a short smoke of less than an hour.

One of the absolute best morning cigars money can buy. Construction is always on point, and the flavors always hit just right. I generally prefer the maduro, but the natural is just as pleasing. The consistency of draw and flavor makes this an absolutely effortless, and perfect cigar to start a great day.

For all Padrons, I have always preferred the Maduro. This aligns with statistics reported by B&M owners too. BUT I actually enjoyed the 64 Principe Natural more than the Maduro today. Both had the the famous Padron spicy toast aromas, slight earth, chocolate and touch of coffee. The Natural had a beautiful sweet oak note throughout it. While the Maduro was more of a fermented sweetness and raspberry chocolate.

The principe is a good cigar, but the smaller gauge can get the cigar too hot if you don’t really take your time with them. Those classic Padron flavors can get acrid quickly if you don’t go very slowly with this one.

The Principe has been a favorite short smoke of mine for many years. I love the box cut, construction, and the creamy but strong flavor profile.

Probably my favourite Padron; has the rich creamy body with a huge and very distinct coffee taste. At the risk of stunning some, I wouldn’t call this a ‘complex’ cigar so much as one that has several core flavours that are just very, very good, and very, very distinct – you can tell that the tobacco in these is absolute top-shelf stuff. This is probably also the ‘lightest’ of the Anniversary series, and as someone who prefers mild to medium cigars, I’d encourage others who prefer that type of strength to give this a shot if they have avoided Padrons due to their (in my opinion deserved) reputation for full body and full strength.
