The Padrón 1964 Anniversary Series line was introduced in 1994 to commemorate our company’s 30th anniversary. This line consists of eleven sizes that are all available in sun-grown natural and Maduro wrappers. All tobacco used in this limited production series is aged for four years, creating a smooth and complex flavor. In honor of the age-old Cuban tradition of box pressing cigars, the 1964 Anniversary line was introduced as a box-pressed series. For the protection of our customers, we have introduced measures to safeguard against counterfeiting with a specially designed double band featuring an individually numbered guarantee label. The Padrón 1964 Anniversary Series is consistently ranked by industry experts as one of the top brands in the world. Rated 94 points by Cigar Aficionado magazine.

Perfect draw and smooth. I really enjoy these because they’re always consistent, go GREAT with a bourbon and can be smoked in under 30 minutes. My girlfriend (who’s never seen herself as a cigar smoker) insists on having a few puffs of mine when she comes over and will pick them up for me if she spots them. Can’t go wrong with this smoke!

Probably my favourite Padron; has the rich creamy body with a huge and very distinct coffee taste. At the risk of stunning some, I wouldn’t call this a ‘complex’ cigar so much as one that has several core flavours that are just very, very good, and very, very distinct – you can tell that the tobacco in these is absolute top-shelf stuff. This is probably also the ‘lightest’ of the Anniversary series, and as someone who prefers mild to medium cigars, I’d encourage others who prefer that type of strength to give this a shot if they have avoided Padrons due to their (in my opinion deserved) reputation for full body and full strength.
