The box-pressed shape enhances the overall experience by improving draw, providing an even, razor-sharp burn, and creating billows of dense smoke.
The blend relies on sun-grown Nicaraguan tobaccos matured for two and a half years, unlocking nuanced flavors while taming strength for a rich but approachable body. Smokers value the reliability of this vitola—construction quality earns high marks, and the slow combustion provides a relaxing, drawn-out session. Fans often comment that, when paired with strong espresso or aged rum, the 5000 Maduro’s robust cocoa and spice flavors shine through.

What a great smoke. I prefer natural but the maduro is definitely growing on me. This had deep rich chocolate notes, leather, coffee and crushed red pepper notes. The construction was right on. Provided a nice white ash. I really enjoyed this one and this quite possibly could be the best maduro I’ve smoked in the standard Padron series. Really hit every note of what I wanted. With this cigar being at a sub $10 price point there isn’t a better value to be had!

Great construction, even burn, good draw. Notes of cocoa, espresso, and baking spice. These age wonderfully, if you can keep your hands off of them!

Next to the 6000 this is the size I smoke the most of. Big open draw, perfect Padron construction every time.
