- Annual limited edition with new nuances in each vintage—highly collectible for aficionados and serious enthusiasts
- Bespoke travel humidor with ten cigars and integrated humidity control for perfect preservation and long-term aging
- Full-bodied profile with layered notes of café au lait, cedar, cashew, crème brûlée, roasted almonds, toasted brioche, toffee, and vanilla
- Expert construction from top Dominican factory partners, resulting in effortless draw and rich, creamy smoke texture
- Blend evolves dramatically from zesty citrus and cream to deep, nutty sweetness across the smoking experience
- Perfect balance for celebratory moments and collectors who value flavor development over time
The 2022 Elegancia showcases how meticulous blending can transform a cigar through every third. Pre-light, the wrapper offers a soft golden-brown hue, supple oils, and a near-flawless seam. Aromas off the wrapper suggest sweet cream, bright citrus, and faint cedar; the foot adds notes of vanilla bean and bread crust. Cold draw is smooth, hinting at cashew, café au lait, and toffee.
First third opens with lively citrus, café au lait, and light cedar, progressing into a creamy cashew and roasted almond body. The burn is razor-sharp, with ample smoke production and a delicate sweetness reminiscent of crème brûlée. Moving into the second third, toasted brioche emerges, the profile deepening as toffee and vanilla come forward. Retrohale reveals subtle floral notes and gentle white pepper. As the final third arrives, Elegancia’s body crescendos, balancing rich creamy textures, nutty core, and a long finish of layered sweetness. Aging enhances complexity, rewarding patient collectors with developing flavors over time.
Michael Herklots’ fingerprints are unmistakable, from the refined construction to the dynamic flavor evolution. Those familiar with his industry history understand his commitment to artistic blending, and Elegancia captures that ethos. The travel humidor enhances the presentation, appealing to collectors and travelers alike. For smokers who appreciate expressive, evolving cigars, this is a box designed to impress at any gathering—or quietly savor on a special occasion.

Solid cigar worth its price even better with a discount. One of the best Connecticut’s out there. Only had one 2021 so cant recall how different it was or if it was better.

Another great Connecticut cigar. Had high expectations for this as it always rates high. I definitely wasn’t disappointed. Creamy, vanilla, hay and sweet cedar is what I got from this gorgeous stick. The construction was awesome. Great draw anc smoke output. Very flavorful, classic Connecticut flavors. I would say this stick is worth the $20 price tag. Definitely would buy this again for the humidor. Great smoke.

An excellent smoke. Creamy and rich. Not the most complex blend out there but still kept things interesting throughout the duration. I usually don’t like smoking the final third of a cigar but this one is an exception. 4 stars only because I feel price wise it is a bit more than what I’d like to pay for this stick. If its around the 15-18 bucks mark, then 5 stars for sure!

Ferio Tego Elegancia 2022 is smoking better than the 2021. Either the blend is better or it tastes better younger. I think it is the former than the later. It is a very creamy and medium in body. I am getting nuts, vanilla, and sweetness to it. Great smoke!
