First and foremost if you haven’t had a Padron 1964 series, stop reading this and go buy one immediately, they are one of the best cigars on the market. It is complex, and sweet, and earthy and just the proper amount of kick. My only complaint is with this Vitola. The tapered end lends to some tar build-up. On one particularly humid night it became a problem to the point I had to pitch the cigar.
TLDR; Definitely purchase the Padron 1964, but do so in a different Vitola.

The quality construction, easy draw, complexity, depth of flavor, and consistency are all hallmarks of the Padron 1964 line, and this Torpedo delivers it all in spades. My only criticism is I have occasionally gotten some tar buildup that required a re-cut with the torpedo, but I know that is me smoking it too fast; just too darn good…patience grasshopper! Notes of baking chocolate, caramel, earth and five spice.
