I’ve been enjoying this coffee quite a bit. I use a chemex to brew my coffee, and it’s pretty fantastic. The coffee has notes of raisin and chocolate, low acidity and a medium roast. It’s a nice easy going cup that I would drink any time of day, and it goes great with cigars. I’m looking forward to trying some of the other blends once I run low on this one. Also the price is great. I wish I could get it a little fresher, my bag was roasted in September, I wish I could taste it about two weeks out from roast date.

I drank both 3rd gear blends from this roaster. Both are great. Of the two, I prefer Zaroca blend with its baker’s chocolate notes.
Marvins’ Blend definitely has a fruit finish on it. Which in itself is very enjoyable.
