Sobremesa Brulee Blue cigars are a limited edition from master blender Steve Saka that harkens back to the mellower smokes of his earlier career years. To create this premium line for lighter palates, Steve employed a top-quality golden-brown Ecuador Connecticut Shade wrapper atop a rare Mexican Matacapan negro de temporal binder, and Nicaraguan fillers, from Esteli, Condega, and Pueblo Nuevo. As was intended, the cigar provides a smooth medium-bodied Connecticut style profile that does not sacrifice its wonderfully complex flavors or aroma, making it a wonderful choice for smokers of all experience levels. Brulee Blues are limited edition cigars that only 1,000 boxes are produced.

A great Ecuador Connecticut shade cigar. The strength is on a medium-light side with the body being medium. This spinoff of a spinoff (or in other words a “tweaked” version of a “tweaked” version) definitely has an added depth, evolution, and long-lasting flavor than the usual Sobremesa Brulee line. I really enjoy the 6 × 46 (Corona Gorda). The perfect size for me is 6 × 48. This is a cigar that contemplative while at the same time is a rewarding experience with proper attention but you really need to stop and enjoy this cigar. Going back to the roots of the name original line’s name Sobremesa, “over the table” (“leisurely time spent tableside after you have finished dining” as Sakas describes). Do that and I am sure you will ensure this cigar, as much as I have, to the fullest.

This is my cup of tea alright! Wish there is enough for me to smoke everyday. Sadly it is a limited edition.

Excellent cigar. Main notes of cedar, cream and a touch of spice. One of the better light body cigars I’ve had. While it can be a touch pricey, it is well worth it if you haven’t tried this yet. 9/10.
