- Body: Medium to full, robust but never overwhelming—great for veterans or those exploring stronger cigars
- Flavor Profile:
- Chewy smoke with notes of cedar and savory earthiness
- Dark chocolate and baking spices (cinnamon, pepper)
- Nutty sweetness and subtle black pepper on the retrohale
- A soft box press and covered foot that emphasizes initial wrapper flavor
- Performance: Consistently praised for smooth draw and even burn; impressive ash holds and flavor intensity that grows through the smoke
- Reviewer Tips: Allow to rest a week or two post-purchase for optimum smoothness; flavors build and deepen throughout, rewarding slow, mindful smoking
- Versatility: Enjoyable for both seasoned palates and newcomers, though “quick puffing” may lead to a slight bitter note—take your time for best results
Reviewers agree: Yorktown Fleet brings a rich spectrum of cedar, dark chocolate, baking spice, pepper, earth, and a sweet sumatra finish, all with chewy, mouth-filling smoke. While not as highly rated as some other Stolen Throne classics (“Call to Arms” and “Crook of the Crown”), it delivers a very enjoyable, balanced profile worthy of a repeat smoke. The covered foot elevates the wrapper impact on light-up, while notes intensify as oils build on the palate. Proper resting time and a slow pace reward the smoker with increased depth and minimal harshness.

This is only the second stick I’ve had from Stolen Thrones and I loved the other. I loved the earthy notes on this. Cedar, baking spices and cocoa. The flavors were solid as well as the construction. I would definitely would smoke this again.

The construction of The Yorktown Fleet is solid, with a soft box press, not a common treatment based on the other releases from Stolen Throne Cigars. What sets the Yorktown Fleet apart is its rich and complex flavor profile. The Nicaraguan tobaccos harmonize to deliver a perfect balance of spice, earthiness, and a subtle sweetness. Each draw unfolds a symphony of flavors, making it a journey for the palate. The burn is consistent, and the ash holds impressively, reflecting the high-quality leaf used in its creation. Whether you’re a seasoned enthusiast or a newcomer to the world of cigars, the Stolen Throne Cigars Yorktown Fleet is a delightful indulgence. It not only showcases the excellence of Nicaraguan tobacco but also stands as a testament to the dedication of Stolen Throne Cigars in producing a cigar that is enjoyable.

I love stolen throne and Sumatra, so I was very excited for this cigar. The one one I lit up was harsh for the first half, so I let it die out. I waited a couple weeks then tried again and it made a world of difference. I was met with loads of spice and sweetness with a peppery retrohale. I still think CTA is a best stolen throne, but I would not overlook this. Just don’t smoke it ROTT and let it rest a week or two

I snagged a fiver of the robusto a few months ago since I’ve enjoyed almost everything from Stolen Throne thus far. I’m such a huge fan of the call to arms as well. This is a much darker Sumatra than it’s counterpart. Beautiful draw which I’ve seen on all the stolen thrones I’ve had the pleasure of smoking.
I love the continuation of the covered foot so you can get that blast of wrapper flavor right off the bat. This cigar has chewy smoke with a nice peppery retro hale. I recommend regular retro to appreciate the full spectrum of flavor. Sweet Sumatra notes with a dark nutty profile. The oil builds on the palate and flavors intensify throughout the burn. I only rate this at a 4 because it does not beat the call to arms for my palate. Fiver to bundle worthy and definitely worth revisiting/aging.

Another good offering from Stolen Throne. I wouldn’t put it above the crook of the crown or the unstolen valor, but it was still very enjoyable. Breast and earthy with a nice spice level. I’d be happy to smoke it again.

I enjoyed the taste of these. I did find a little of a bitter note when smoking them a little fast. They seem to be a little under filled, so it’s easy to smoke fast. Other than that, I enjoyed these.
