I preferred the chasseur over the belle encore. This cigar is full in flavor, complexity, and well rounded. The flavors I got are chocolate, coffee, pepper, spice, oak, and a touch of sweetness. The retro was spicy and sweet. The smoke was chewy with a long finish. I enjoyed this cigar a lot.

I love everything and anything tatuaje. When I saw that oxford had this I had to grab one. I love the closed foot as you get that blast of flavor immediately. I’m getting brown sugar, roasted nuts and a creamy finish. There is a light pepper that comes on the end a bit. This has such an incredible clean finish on it. You can tell that this stick has been perfectly aged. The draw on this is perfect. Burn is great provided that nice white ash. As I work through the halfway point I start to get more sweetness from the wrapper. This isn’t as bold as many tatuaje blends I’ve had and that’s ok. This is blended so well that I’m enjoying every puff. Awesome stick and look forward to getting some more!

Seems like Pete is going crazy with Mexican San Andreas this year. This cigar has a mottled wrapper that feels like fine sand paper. I really like the closed foot which allows you to taste the wrapper alone with the first initial puffs. Densely rolled with a perfect draw. This one starts with a blast of milk chocolate and nice oily finish. Minimal pepper on the tongue with a solid amount of spice on the retro. Lighter than the newest pork tenderloin or t110 tuxtla but hits all the notes you crave in msa. These have serious aging potential are I could see myself snagging a box.
