Nice box press with h black pepper to start. Full bodied cigar that never lets go bringing earth and leather upfront with a linger spice on the palate and nostrils. This is an intense cigar that is a great after dinner smoke!

Intense semi box pressed addition to Tatuaje portfolio that is a full flavor bomb. Fans of Tatuaje (I am sure) will love this one. This Ecuadorian Habano maduro wrapper is full strength from start to finish. It was too strong for me to enjoy it. The Tatuaje Cojonu 2015 was a fantastic smoke and I think excel the 2018 blend.

This is my least favorite of the cojonu’s. The flavors I got were cocoa, raisin, black pepper, and floral which is great but the couple I smoked lacked the power of the other cojonu’s. It felt more medium bodied/medium flavor with a quick drop off the palate for taste. The construction was still great except the ash never wanted to stay on for more than an inch.

Real masterpiece. This tatuaje is as good if not better than previous releases. I’m getting cedar, cocoa nibs and blk coffee. The construction on these are spot on. Love the box press on this as it gives a tremendous mouth feel. Flavors are deep and rich. I expect nothing less from tatuaje and they definitely delivered on this release. Also a great price from Oxford, need to get more of these. Total winner!

The Tatuaje Cojonu 2018 in its box-pressed format is a great addition to the Cojonu (“Ballsy”) cigars. From the moment I held this cigar in my hand, I could feel the expert craftsmanship. Upon lighting, the Cojonu 2018 immediately showcased its remarkable blend of flavors. The box-pressed format enhanced the draw, allowing for a perfect airflow that brought out the nuances of the tobacco. Rich notes of cedar, leather, and dark chocolate tantalized my taste buds, creating a complex and well-rounded profile. The construction of this cigar was a little loose on the first one I tried, but the others in the box have been solid. This cigar has a slightly oily wrapper, and the burn was even and slow (on the second and third outings), without any unevenness or relights. Overall, the Tatuaje Cojonu 2018 is a welcome addition to the Cojonu line. It offers a great smoking experience with its solid construction, flavorful blend, and box-pressed shape. For Tatuaje fans, and those new to the brand that are seeking a cigar that embodies the strength aka ‘ballsy’ as the name suggests, this is a must-try.

This cigar delivers every time. Full of flavor without being overpowering, but still strong enough that I would tell someone who is sensitive to maybe pass. For medium full cigars lovers it doesn’t get much better than this though. Rum raisin, wheat toast, black pepper, a little citrus and floral on the retro. Perfect burn and draw.
