An Exquisite Blend of Tradition and Innovation
Step into a world of refined luxury with the Villa Casdagli Robusto, a cigar that embodies a rich heritage while pushing the boundaries of flavor. Inspired by the legendary Villa Casdagli in Cairo, this cigar is a celebration of history, artfully blended for the discerning palate. Crafted at the renowned Tabacos de Costa Rica factory, the Villa Casdagli Robusto is the result of a meticulous search for the perfect blend, showcasing a unique combination of tobaccos from across the globe.
At the heart of this cigar’s exceptional character is the “mejorado” or “improvement” process. Select tobaccos in the blend undergo a secondary fermentation for two to four months, a patient technique that unlocks incredible depth and richness. This special treatment, combined with a unique filler that includes two distinct Peruvian tobaccos, creates a profile that is exceptionally sweet, complex, and memorable.
A Rich and Evolving Flavor Journey
The Villa Casdagli Robusto offers a sophisticated and multi-layered smoking experience. The profile is a delightful tapestry of flavors, starting with notes of gentle pepper and evolving to reveal a core of sweet vanilla, rich chocolate, and warm maple syrup. Undertones of brown sugar, honey, and cashew add to the complexity, leading to a smooth, satisfying finish with hints of rich molasses. It’s a medium to full-bodied smoke that delivers a complex, rewarding, and beautifully balanced experience from beginning to end.

I am a huge fan of Casdagli cigars. I tried the Villa Casdagli Robusto for the first time yesterday and thought it was very good. It’s not as complex as some of Casdagli’s more expensive offerings but it is good nonetheless. There is a prominent citrus element, like lemon or even lemongrass. I also tasted notes of graham cracker, nuts and chocolate. It had a good amount black pepper spice. Construction and draw were both excellent. It’s a very good cigar but Casdagli makes better, albeit more expensive, cigars.

Absolutely love this stick. A little white/black pepper but I really got a ton of maple syrup and brown sugar flavors from this one. Right up my alley.

Not as dynamic of a flavor profile compared to the Pigasus vitola. Overall a decent stick, but not something I’d buy again.
