Tasty stuff, and aptly named. It is not a super easy going Connecticut, it has a very earthy savory core and it has some spice to it too, leaving a nice tingle on the lips. The burn and draw were great, if anything that draw was just a touch too loose. I’m a big warped fan an I am hard pressed to think f something Kyle has done n a shade wrapper that I didn’t like quite a bit, and this cigar is no exception.

I’ve like most of what I’ve had from warped. This was absolutely fantastic. This is one of the best Connecticuts I’ve had in some time. I’m getting cashew butter, hay and a creamy butterscotch. The finish on this is very clean and tasty. Construction was solid. I loved everything about this. Glad I grabbed a bundle of these.

At first glance, the cigar is quite hideous. The wrapper leaf is very veiny and mottled, looking like left over scraps from a sub par batch of tobacco. The cap is also affixed very sloppily too. For an $11 cigar, I would expect better quality ingredients and construction, but that’s probably why these come in a foil wrapped pack.
On the cold draw, there isn’t really any flavor. Lighting up required a lot of extra effort, possibly a product of being wet packed. The first third is really bland and boring, maybe a little hint of spice. The burn is not even, and requires a lot of touching up to get it straightened out. The ash is also really flaky, not as thick and dense as I’m used to from other Warped products.
The flavor does develop more in the second third with some leather and more spice, but it gets lost in the final third. If I had to compare this to anything else I’ve smoked, it would have to be some $2 cigars you get in those variety packs from a famous cigar auction site. The whole thing feels like a failed attempt at blending, again probably why they were put in a foil pack instead of a well presented box. It’s disappointing as I had high hopes, especially since I enjoy Connecticut blends with character.

This cigar was a pleasant departure from the usual Connecticut experience. While it lacked the mellow ease of some Connecticuts, it made up for it with a surprising depth and complexity.
It had some white pepper spice that tickled the lips, definitely not what you expect from a Connecticut. As I smoked, earthy and savory notes emerged, balanced by a hint of cedar. The spiciness never overwhelmed the other flavors. Overall, a great choice for smokers looking for a Connecticut with some extra kick.

This was absolute fire. Got a bit of white pepper at light up, leather and cedar. After the first third, the pepper falls off and it gets nutty, creamy, smooth, with a natural sweetness. Grabbing another bundle before these sell out.
