Warped La Colmena No. 44, aptly named “The Beehive,” is a flagship boutique cigar crafted at the historic El Titan de Bronze in Miami. With its roots inspired by the storied custom rolls of Cuba, this cigar is rolled only by Cuba’s top-rated master torcedores and showcases traditional Cuban entubado bunching, triple cap, and a covered foot. The Ecuadorian Deflorada wrapper imparts a beautiful honey tone, encasing a blend of aged Dominican and Nicaraguan long-fillers for a sophisticated smoking experience.
Upon lighting, expect an alluring bouquet of honey, cream, cedar, graham cracker, and dried fruit, complemented by touches of vanilla, white pepper, clove, cinnamon, and subtle roasted nuts. The palate is rewarded with a medium body, silky mouthfeel, and layers of floral, sweet, and savory notes. Each puff reveals exceptional balance, effortless draw, and a slow, cool burn—hallmarks of meticulous small-batch construction. Great blend, perfect construction. Awesome medium cigar. Bright and creamy with a just a tad of zip, especially at light up with the closed foot. Fantastic cigar.

Construction is incredible, flavor is medium. Perfect with coffee. Bought a box the second they went up and got another with the membership which I’m glad I did. Don’t let the price scare you these are worth every penny

This is the cigar that got me hooked on Warped stuff.
I love the vitola and the flavor is amazing. Construction is always immaculate and anytime I can find a box available I’m buying it!

I buy these delicious cigars whenever I see them, to the point that I’m nervous about giving them such a good review – they’re released in a highly limited quantity, and I want them for myself. Exquisitely constructed in Miami at El Titan de Bronze by expert rollers (actually, I think we’re down to just one), with a consistency of flavor and perfect draw that I’ve never found elsewhere. These are light to medium, bright and buzzy, with a nice little extra wrapper-flavor punch as you draw through the sealed foot to get it started. My only complaint is that they’re expensive – I’ve gotten past that: I think in 20 boxes of these I’ve had one stick whose quality I didn’t think was up to par – compare that to the last box of Cubans you got, and the La Colmena price seems to get more reasonable. These sticks are wonderful, so please, do me a favor and leave some for me.

The La Colmena No. 44 is the real deal! Normally I prefer a 50 ring gauge cigar but this No. 44 is it! Notes of cedar, white pepper, leather, hay, and salty peanuts. A cubanesge like cigar in my opinion…Once the Cream and Vanilla like sweetness moves in this cigar is fantastic! Buy a box!

Toasted pepper in the nose, sweet and spicy in the mouth, the feeling from inhalation to exhalation is pepper, hazelnut powder, and nectar aftertaste.
Take a small sip, the smoke is very smooth, and the aroma feels a little coffee. Take another sip, and you can feel a slight change, the hazelnut powder turns into coffee, and the aftertaste is sweeter, sweeter than my Geisha!
In the middle of the first section, the wood tells you, it’s coming! There is a little bit of oblique burning. Wood is the main theme from here, woody, powdery, hazelnut sweet, and honey floral aftertaste

Love the vitola. Construction was great and the flavor profile was very enjoyable. Honey, some toast, nutty, sweet and creamy. These are box worthy all day.

Exceptional cigar. I love warped cigars and generally anything that comes out of El Titan DeBronze is a great stick. So I had to try this and I was not disappointed. These are creamy, honey, bread and cashew. I love the smaller ring gauge cigars. The construction is great. Love the pigtail cap and closed foot on these. Very nice touches. I would definitely buy these again!

Let this beauty rest and get a little age under its belt and you shall be rewarded! I had this cigar rest for 6 months and it gets better with age. If you think it is a superb smooth stick young, give it some age and gets much smoother. I would recommend buying a box and sit on it for a year. The wait will be worth it. It smokes beautifully young but does not impart the same profound honey that envelops the palette given a little age. The biggest thing I like about this cigar is the honey notes. Kyle did right to call it La Coleman (Spanish: Beehive). It lives up to its name. This fantastic cigar is deliciously smooth and sweet, mild strength and a wonderful aroma. This is my favorite Warped blend.
