The Curivari Buenaventura Favoritos Maduro is one of three offerings in the Buenaventura Favoritos line, each distinguished by its unique wrapper and blend nuances. Here’s the breakdown for the Maduro version:
Cigar Details:
•Wrapper: Mexican San Andrés
•Binder: Nicaraguan
•Filler: Nicaraguan (with fillers adjusted specifically to enhance the Maduro blend)
•Strength: Medium to Full
•Factory: Tabacalera de Nicaragua S.A.
Key Features:
•Flavor Profile: The Mexican San Andrés wrapper is known for delivering bold, rich flavors, with notes of dark chocolate, earth, and subtle spices. Combined with the Nicaraguan binder and filler, the Maduro blend offers a full-bodied, deeply complex experience with a sweet and slightly peppery finish.

This is the third of the trio recently dropped by Curivari. The Maduro Favoritos is a good looking smoke… dark brown wrapper. The cigar is well constructed and burned ok. The flavors of this were sharper than I would have preferred. Leather, and some spice, but just seemed unbalanced. The price point is there to give it a try, but if the three released in the lineup, this is the least favorite of mine. If you like Maduro cigars, give it a try, but it’s probably best to let them sit for a bit before trying. The other two are definitely something I’d smoke right now.
