To push the European release of its H.O.F. brand, Tabacalera El Artista presents a very special limited edition of which only 541 boxes of 10 have been produced. The number is that exact, because it corresponds to the record of homeruns that the Dominican “baseball player” David Ortiz, “Big Papi”, has achieved during his entire career in the World Series. For those who are not fans of this sport, a “homerun” is the highest aspiration of a batsman: a hit so hard that the ball flies out of the stadium.
The regular H.O.F., which is already beginning to arrive in international markets, is a toro-shaped cigar, 152 mm x 54, with a San Andrés wrapper (Mexico), a binder and filler from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The blend was created by David Ortiz himself, in collaboration with Radhamés “Ram” Rodríguez, from Tabacalera El Artista. The limited edition, meanwhile, has a conical shape, almost in the shape of a baseball bat, with a 34 ring gauge in the head and a 60 finish at the foot. It is sold in boxes of 10 units.
In addition to this H.O.F., El Artista has presented the new image of his regular production cigars, both Ámbar and Cimarrón, which continue to be sold in the same formats and with the same blend.
