Lampert Cigars Updates 1675 Nicaragua Line and Packaging for U.S.

Lampert Cigars announces a packaging and portfolio update for its Nicaragua 1675 Series (AZUL, ROJO, MORADO) in the United States market.

At the end of this month, the 1675 Nicaragua line will transition from traditional 20-count boxes to elegant 10-count boxes, each accompanied by a matching branded carton box that mirrors the design of the wooden box. This upgraded packaging has been successfully introduced in international markets since 2024 and will now roll out in the U.S.

As part of this enhancement, each cigar will also feature a new footband clearly labeled with the line name — AZUL, ROJO, or MORADO — improving both shelf visibility and brand recognition.

To better align with consumer preferences in the U.S., Lampert Cigars will now offer the 1675 Nicaragua line in Toro size only. The Robusto and Short Robusto vitolas will be discontinued in the U.S. but will continue to be available in international markets where demand remains strong for a broader portfolio.

Due to the upgraded packaging and the effects of ongoing import tariffs, Lampert Cigars will implement a modest increase of $0.50 on the MSRP per cigar for the U.S. market.

“We’re excited to bring a more refined and retail-optimized presentation to our U.S. partners,” said Dr. Stefan Lampert, founder of Lampert Cigars. “With these changes, we’re enhancing the brand’s presence while remaining true to the high-quality experience our customers expect.”
