Big Party: Vegafina Momentum

VegaFina started a slow-motion process or rebranding in 2019, with the release of its most premium series: VegaFina 1998. Since then, step by step, VegaFina has been implementing the design of the 1998 series to the whole brand, until the final coming out, celebrated with a big, big party in Seville, South of Spain, with the attendance of the most important cigar retailers of the Spanish market.

Javier Rodríguez Lera, Tabacalera’s national premium sales manager, welcomed the attendees to the presentation, inviting everyone to have fun and with a reference to the summer solstice, which had occurred four days earlier, as a symbol of renewal. Jorge Fernández Cabezas, the company’s marketing manager, officially presented the VegaFina’s new image as “modern and simple,” he said. “We’ve taken the pattern of the 1998 line and applied it to VegaFina Classic, Serie 2, and Nicaragua, to present an image that, like our cigars themselves, is consistent“. Fernández Cabezas noted that VegaFina is the leading brand in the premium cigar market in Spain and “the best-selling non-Cuban brand in the world, excluding the North American market”.

The cigars dressed in the new image has been arriving to the shop trouhout the year, so it was time to celebrate “The VegaFina Momentum”, and that’s what happened in Seville: big, big party till late, music, dancers, food, drinks, cocktails, lots of partnership and friends and, of course, cigars.
