La Aurora USA Joins Cigar Association of America

The Cigar Association of America (CAA) today announced that La Aurora USA has joined the trade association. La Aurora USA is the U.S. distribution arm of La Aurora, the oldest cigar factory in the Dominican Republic, founded in 1903. It oversees sales, marketing, and distribution of the company’s premium and mass market cigar portfolio in the United States, including La Aurora 1903, Preferidos 1903, ADN Dominicano, 107, and León Jimenes.

“CAA is proud to welcome LA Aurora USA to the association,” said CAA President Scott Pearce. “LA Aurora will be a tremendous addition to our membership and support us as CAA continues to grow our portfolio of services, expand our statistics program that offers key insights into the industry, and grow our impactful advocacy programs that benefit all sectors of the industry,” Pearce said.

La Aurora USA CEO Ed McKenna echoed Pearce’s sentiments and said he and his team are particularly excited about industry insights and working alongside other manufacturers to support and defend the industry. “As a manufacturer of both premium and mass market cigars, La Aurora understands how important it is that every segment of the industry is represented. CAA facilitates collaboration by bringing together members across the cigar industry and ensuring their voices are heard. We’re excited to join the association and support its efforts moving forward.”

CAA is the leading national trade association representing manufacturers, distributors, importers, suppliers, and supporting services in the cigar industry and traces its roots back to the 1890s.
