E.P. Carrillo Unveils “La Historia Silk”

E.P. Carrillo is proud to announce the upcoming release of La Historia Silk, a limited-edition cigar, blended by Lissette Perez-Carrillo, that brings a new dimension of elegance and strength to the acclaimed Perez-Carrillo series. Inspired by the grace, resilience, and influence of women, La Historia Silk will be limited to just 500 boxes annually, each crafted in a classic round Toro size (6×52) with release scheduled for the 3rd quarter this year.

Rooted in the award-winning legacy of La Historia, Silk represents the evolution of tradition through the lens of feminine power and modern refinement. This release stands as a tribute to the women who shape the cigar industry—consumers, creators, and storytellers alike.

In a unique and collaborative development process, three distinct wrappers are currently being sampled by a select group of retailers and women cigar enthusiasts across the country:

• Mexican San Andrés
• Ecuadorian Connecticut
• Ecuadorian Havana

These blends each offer a distinct profile, and the final selection will be revealed at the PCA Trade Show.

When released, the La Historia Silk will be presented in 10ct boxes, made at the Casa Carrillo factory in the Dominican Republic. The price is TBA.

“La Historia Silk is deeply personal—it’s a cigar that honors the women in my life and in our community,” said Lissette Perez-Carrillo, co-owner of E.P. Carrillo. “We wanted to create something elegant yet powerful, and we knew the final blend had to be chosen by the very women it was inspired by.”
