Elevated Tobacco

Jacob from Natura cigars claims himself a farmer because he was and is still producing great vegetables. With the pandemic he was looking for a less sensitive product in terms of time. So he hired a consultant from one of the big cigar companies and started growing tobacco in the greenhouse at an elevation of 1350 meters or 4500 ft. Everybody told him this will not work, but with his expertise of a farmer he started in the heart of the Dominican Republic.

His cigars consist of leaves only from his farm. The first cigar is called Altura First Edition and following the idea the next was Altura II.

Actual out is the 5th anniversary.

Jacob points out that every process of growing and fermenting tobacco at this altitude takes approx. 3 times longer. Therefore, the leaves produce a very distinctive flavor. Let you surprise.
