CLE Cigar Company proudly announces the release of 1916 Tabacalera Eiroa, a new premium cigar developed under the direction of fourth-generation cigar maker Santi Eiroa. Named after the year the Eiroa family began cultivating tobacco, 1916 represents over a century of evolution.
The blend consists of Original Corojo and Pinareño seed tobaccos, both grown and preserved by the Eiroa family. All tobaccos used in 1916 are aged prior to production.
“When I think about my role in this industry,” said Santi Eiroa,“my goal is how do we bring in the next generation and keep this tradition alive for another hundred years? Cigars create memories. They create space to slow down, to sit with people you care about, and to be fully present. That’s what this cigar represents to me.”
“My father, Christian, prefers fuller-bodied cigars yet my grandfather, Julio, leans milder. I tend to prefer something in the middle, and I often wonder what my great-grandfather, Generoso Eiroa’s preference was. This blend reflects that balance, a bridge across generations.”
1916 Tabacalera Eiroa will be available in the following vitolas:
