The excellent burn produced plenty of smoke with a profile mainly of oak and dark cedar. There was also a little pepper and espresso notes that left a slight bitterness on the palate. The retrohale had hints of vanilla and bread. Overall a little dark for my personal taste, but a very enjoyable cigar, nonetheless.

This Curivari Lanceros 2023 LE was fantastic. Really enjoyed the rich flavors and smooth smoke. Nicaraguan goodness all around. It wasn’t too strong, but definitely satisfied. Burned great the whole time.

This brand is always a very good value. I never have issues with construction, even in this hard to make Lancers. Burned great, tasted pretty good. A little harsh, not the most refined blend but for the price I knew what I was getting into. They punch way above their weight class, and if their prices continue to stay low I’ll continue to buy from them.

I loved everything I’ve had from Curivari and the lancero is one of my favorite vitolas so this was a no brainer. Really nice looking stick. Tight wrapper with few noticeable veins. On this I’m getting a heavy peanut shell flavor with cedar and a light molasses. One of the things I grade heavily on is the construction on lanceros and this was superb. Great draw and burn. I feel the cigar is a little rough on flavor and could benefit greatly from a nice rest in the humidor. I will revisit this as I feel if it evens out a bit it will be even better.
