We really wanted NUTCRACKER Special Edition ‘21 to be a cigar so special that when you choose a cigar to smoke after Christmas dinner…this is the one you choose!
So, we went way back to our cigar-making roots…and made NUTCRACKER Special Edition ‘21 a phenomenal Nicaraguan-based cigar!
Because nothing says “Merry Christmas” like NICA tobacco. NOTHING!
And to make things even merrier, NUTCRACKER Special Edition ‘21 is LOADED with our favorite Medio Tiempo ligero! (Which just so happens to be the richest, tastiest stuff on God’s green Earth!)
NUTCRACKER Special Edition ‘21 is a 5.5×50 short toro with a beautiful Broadleaf Maduro wrapper! Binder and filler tobaccos are Nicaraguan but the specific regions will remain a closely guarded secret.
Full-body. Med/Full-strength. Tobaccos are all b/n 5-10 years old!
1st 3rd: Tootsie Roll, caramel, ancho chili, buttercream frosting, cocoa, raw leather, hazelnut, whiskey barrel, brown sugar…

Very strong. It’s somewhat balanced with the sweetness of the broadleaf, but still a little heavy handed on the ligero for me.

Spicy! Not a pepper-bomb, but there’s so much spice going on here that you probably want to drink this with something palette-cleansing like sparkling water, so that every draw you get to experience it all over again. Big body, and quite strong – I give it four stars if only because I found it unrelenting in strength – I prefer something that ‘builds’, but fans of big, bold cigars? Grab these immediately.
