Ferio Tego Metropolitan Connecticut
Ferio Tego Metropolitan Connecticut is the embodiment of classic Dominican cigar tradition, offering a timeless and mellow profile ideal for morning sessions or those who appreciate subtlety. Beautifully hand-rolled by Quesada in the Dominican Republic, this blend features a silky Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper draped over a Dominican binder and select Dominican fillers, unchanged for over 25 years since its debut in the iconic Nat Sherman portfolio.
Lighting up reveals a mild-to-medium body and a flawlessly smooth experience. Expect notes of cedar, toast, cream, and hints of hazelnut joined by subtle spices and a gentle sweetness. A warm, woody core combines with an underlying creamy texture, leading to a refined and clean finish—never harsh or overpowering. The Metropolitan Connecticut’s balance, consistency, and approachability make it a perfect introductory cigar as well as a refined choice for connoisseurs seeking dependable, mellow flavor.
Versatile enough for any occasion, this blend pairs beautifully with coffee, tea, or light-bodied spirits. It continues the legacy of New York’s Nat Sherman, now revived by Ferio Tego for a modern era.

I love to try out different kinds of Connecticut wrapper cigars, even thought majority of them taste similar. This however is a slight cut above the average ones. For the price, its fair to enough to become an everyday smoke. It does have a little bit more depth than many cigars in the same price range and for that I recommend it!

I was pleasantly surprised how good this cigar was. It was bursting with flavor. Got a lot of creaminess, peanut shell and cashew butter. Some warm white bread notes as well. I like somewhat shorter smokes and the union vitola fits that bill and at a great price. There was some pepper that joined in the final third. Overall an excellent smoking experience and look forward to having again.
