In 1998, while on temporary disability for carpal tunnel syndrome from his career as a computer scientist, Pease looked at the list of things his doctor told him he wasn’t allowed to do. Blending tobacco wasn’t on there. He started a company. By early 2000, G.L. Pease Tobacco was born, and it has grown into one of the most respected small batch tobacco companies in the world. Greg’s blends are manufactured by C&D (Cornell & Diehl) in the United States.
