Detailed description
Diamond Crown Natural was created to showcase J.C. Newman’s vision of refined cigar making, built on a partnership with the Fuente family that leverages Tabacalera A. Fuente’s deep bench of rollers and aged tobaccos.[page:1] The star of the blend is the double fermented Connecticut Shade wrapper, a golden brown leaf that undergoes extended fermentation to heighten silkiness, erase harshness, and ensure a smooth, even burn line from start to finish.[page:1] Beneath that wrapper, both binder and filler are composed exclusively of aged Dominican Olor, a varietal prized for mild body, clean burn, and quietly complex flavor.[page:1]
In the smoke, Diamond Crown Natural presents an immediate wave of cream and cashew, followed by vanilla and almond that ride on top of a gentle oak and leather base.[page:1] As the cigar progresses, nutmeg, baking spice, and light citrus notes emerge, adding lift and keeping the profile from feeling flat.[page:1] The strength remains in the mild to medium zone, but the flavor density gives the impression of more body without ever tiring the palate.[page:1] The extended cedar aging and meticulous triple inspection shine through in the way each cigar draws effortlessly, burns straight, and maintains its composure all the way to the band.[page:1]

What makes Diamond Crown Natural different from the Maduro?
Diamond Crown Natural uses a golden Connecticut Shade wrapper for a creamy, mild to medium profile, while the Maduro uses dark Broadleaf for richer chocolate and espresso notes, both over the same Dominican Olor core.[page:1]
How is flavor consistency ensured?
Every cigar is rolled at Tabacalera A. Fuente, double fermented, cedar aged for at least 12 months, and triple inspected, which protects the blend’s smoothness, combustion, and subtle flavor balance.[page:1]
Which sizes are most popular?
The No. 3 (6½ x 54) and No. 4 (5½ x 54) are favorites for their balance of smoke time and flavor evolution, while the long No. 1 is a classic choice for extended, cool smoking sessions.[page:1]
Is Diamond Crown Natural good for special occasions?
Yes, its refined character, luxury presentation, and universally approachable profile make it a top pick for weddings, milestones, and formal gatherings where you want an elegant, crowd friendly cigar.[page:1]
What flavor notes should I expect?
Expect creamy cashew and vanilla up front, followed by almonds, oak, leather, nutmeg, gentle citrus, and soft baking spice that stay balanced and never overwhelm the palate.[page:1]
How should I store Diamond Crown Natural?
Keep them at 65–70 percent humidity and 68–72 degrees Fahrenheit, ideally away from stronger or infused cigars so the delicate Connecticut and Dominican Olor nuances stay clean.[page:1]
What drink pairings work best?
Champagne, light rum, creamy coffee drinks, or buttery chardonnay all pair nicely with the cigar’s creamy, gently sweet profile, enhancing its subtleties rather than overpowering them.[page:1]
Is this a good choice for beginners?
Yes, the mild to medium body, ultra smooth texture, and forgiving profile make Diamond Crown Natural an excellent introduction to true luxury cigars for newer smokers.[page:1]

These are so well done. The flavors on these absolutely pop. I get nuttiness, cedar, hay and a creamy finish to boot. The construction on these are second to none. I know these aren’t the cheapest Connecticuts out there but to me they are worth every penny. Everything about these exhibits class. The cigars themselves are beautiful, box is stunning and the enjoyment of these is second to none. If you like Connecticut shade cigars these are a must try! 100% boxworthy!
