And I don’t mean fishy lol – got to enjoy this cigar while in Hawaii as well – has salt-like flavors in addition to the wood and leathery notes. This stick is definitely full of flavor – Stefan Lampert nailed this one!

Lampert really knows what they are doing with their blends. This one is very unique with a strong taffy note throughout. The saltiness and chocolate notes are a great mix.

These are the real deal! Cedar, leather, almond, and a nice sweetness at the finish! The 2/3 is really good.

Very happy that Oxford scouts out and presents some lesser well known and boutique cigars. I haven’t seen this one in any of the local stores and thought I’d give it a try. The burn line was a little uneven and needed a touch up, but not a serious problem. The ash was strong and the cigar produced plenty of smoke. There was a subdued, but definite, base profile that started with earth, moved to black coffee and then to leather. Just enough to balance the lighter salt/mineral character. There were also sweet notes and some almonds. The overall profile struck me as smooth and mild and, perhaps, a little unusual. Could easily imagine myself enjoying this on a Caribbean island somewhere!

So far I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve smoked from Lampert. This one was unique for sure. Sweet, a tad salty, some almond and some minerality. I’d say give it a shot.

I don’t have too much experience with Lampert, but this is one of the weirdest flavors I’ve ever gotten out of a cigar. I got reminded me of those Betty Crocker sugar cookies but instead of sugar on top, it has salt, with linger baking spices/mineral here and there. I enjoyed it, but every one in a while the salt/mineral flavors didn’t hit my palate right. Give it a shot, it’s a unique experience.

I agree with you review. Specifically on the point of “it has salt, with linger baking spices/mineral here and there”. That is very on point.

I was not familiar with Lampert cigars before joining Oxford’s Premier Club, I tried the blue labeled, ‘Azul’ robusto and was impressed. I’ve since tried to experience the other offerings and have enjoyed them all. This Ocean Breeze is no exception… it’s full of flavor, like eating a Nilla wafer cookie at the beach on a warm breezy day. There’s sweet notes, and vanilla notes, with a subtle saltiness that lingers on the palate. Delicious!

I got a lot salt and mineral notes on the finish. This is the first time tasting mineral notes that I enjoyed. I found some literature on it. “The Ocean Breeze tastes slightly salty from start to finish. This is because the tobacco is stored near the sea.” Interesting new method in storing the tobacco. This is cigar is worthy a try. It will be different than your usual rotation.
