A great flavor bomb. Perfect construction, burned great. Different from a lot of what I’ve seen from Warped, but they nailed this. I wish I could add pictures to the review, the wrapper on this is incredible. Dark, oily, and super super toothy, leaving your ash covered in those little flavor spots. I started with a fiver, had one, and will be ordering more.

I’ve been moving through Warped’s offerings since trying the Drop sampler from Oxford a few months back and noticed the lack of darker wrapper cigars. This is not necessarily a bad thing for me, Warped are fast becoming a staple in my burgeoning collection so I was curious how this SA wrapped offering would fare.
As a fairly new member of this hobby one thing I am learning is bigger does not equal better for me, especially when it comes to maduro type wrappers. The Companion is a tasty little bugger that burns and tastes great and doesn’t have that typical dark stick spicy kick. I started off with a five pack and immediately ordered another, as long as these are around I’ll keep some on hand.

Great rothschild from Warped. Like the name suggests, it is a great smoke to enjoy with friends who enjoy cigars with an oily San Andres wrapper (only the second Warped release after the Oso Mama to do so). Dominican and Nicaraguan round out the blend. Burned razor sharp with a tight ash. Flavors of cocoa and cracked pepper come and go with a bit of sweetness showing up too. Very enjoyable!
