Created by the legend himself Steve Saka from Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust cigars. StillWell Star is Steve Saka’s first venture into crafting a combination of premium cigars with amazing quality pipe tobaccos. With the help of pipe master blender Jeremy Reeves from Cornell & Diehl they created this series of a combination of two worlds that share the same passion for quality tobaccos. Each different StillWell Star features a dark Ecuadorian Habano Wrapper, a Mexican San Andres Binder, and a filler using different combinations of various cigar and pipe tobaccos. These cigars are made at the Joya de Nicaragua factory in Nicaragua.
Tasting Notes
A combination of Bright and Red Virginia leaf with the most select St. James Parish Perique pipe tobacco added to a medium-bodied Nicaraguan puro.
This liga begins the mildest of all, but the Perique really kicks up in the end with a spicy finish. It rewards the smoker with that classic “VaPer” combination of zest and umami that is entrancing for the discerning palate.

Very different profile with the pipe tobacco. Picked up some interesting earthy flavors and the foot smoke was giving off a complex aroma.

Different and super enjoyable medium smoke cigar! Certainly is a different but interesting flavor profile. Not aromatic as No. 1 in the series but tasty with the pipe tobacco.

This was a very interesting cigar. Lots of sweetness, with a nice spice as well. There’s a black tea quality to it as well. Awesome construction, I got almost two hours out of this toro. Nothing less than what I would expect from Mr. Saka.
