Now Shipping: Year of the Dragon by Oliva Cigar Co and Gurkha Cigars

Gurkha Cigar Group is shipping the third installment of its Year of the Dragon series, this one a collaboration with Oliva Cigar. Co.  The 6.5 x 60 Salomon ($25) comes in a sleek Dragon Collector’s edition humidor and features a San Andres wrapper, Cameroon binder, and Nicaraguan filler.

The Year of the Dragon project collects an all-star team of cigar producers, Oliva Cigars, Oscar Valladares, E.P. Carillo, and A.J. Fernandez Cigars to be part of a quarterly release plan through the end of the year. Each edition includes the story of the respective brand on a vellum paper insert and primary and secondary band. 

The fourth and final Gurkha Year of the Dragon cigar is scheduled to be released before the fall and is made with Oscar Valladares.
