Maya Selva Cigars Presents the New VZ Danlí

Maya Selva Cigars is expanding its award-winning Villa Zamorano line with an exclusive new collection: VZ Danlí. This outstanding Honduran puro was conceived as an authentic expression of its origins and made its debut at InterTabac 2024. The latest addition is now available on the German market through M. K. & Söhne.

The VZ Danlí combines three decades of tobacco expertise with the finest Honduran tobaccos and serves as a tribute to Danlí, the cigar capital of Honduras. This region is renowned for its rich tradition in tobacco cultivation and the production of premium handmade cigars. The VZ Danlí embodies this heritage, showcasing the distinctive flavors of this exceptional growing area.

For the VZ Danlí, Maya Selva combined a Carmelita wrapper, grown exclusively for this line, with a binder from the renowned Trojes region and a carefully selected filler blend of the finest Honduran tobaccos from the Jamastran Valley and Azacualpa. All tobaccos undergo a triple fermentation process and are meticulously processed to ensure a harmonious balance between strength and aroma. 

Since its founding in 2001, the Villa Zamorano series has been crafted in a historic colonial building in the heart of Danlí. In early 2024, the factory moved to a modern production facility along the well-known »Tobacco Road«, which was officially inaugurated in January 2025.

In line with the brand’s evolution, the VZ Danlí will not be presented in a bundle like the previous series but rather in an elegant green wooden box with gold details. This sophisticated design reflects the fusion of tradition and innovation, adding an exclusive touch to the VZ Danlí. 

With the launch of the VZ Danlí, Maya Selva Cigars marks another milestone in the world of premium cigars, once again highlighting its dedication to artisanal perfection and authentic moments of enjoyment.
