Cigar Industry Prepares for Trump’s Tariffs to Take Effect

Products made in Nicaragua are being hit with an 18 percent reciprocal tariff, while those from the Dominican Republic, Honduras and Costa Rica each face a 10 percent tariff. Chinese-made cigar accessories are poised to see the biggest cost increase, as Trump placed an additional 34 percent tariff on them.
