Cigar Oasis Updates Humidification Systems

Keeping your cigars in a properly humidified environment is essential to preserving their flavor, aroma, and overall smoking quality, while preventing them from drying out or becoming too moist. Since 1997, Cigar Oasis has been helping consumers keep their cigars in perfect storage with its line of electric humidification systems for personal humidors.

Late last year, Cigar Oasis introduced its Ultra 4.0 model that’s designed for desktop humidors containing as many as 150 cigars. Cigar Oasis highlighted the Ultra 4.0 model at the PCA Show, touting the humidification system’s new elements, including its Rapid Response technology. When using the monthly SmartHumidor app subscription, the app and devices are in constant communication thanks to Ultra 4.0’s Wi-Fi capability. Users may change humidification levels inside the app and any changes of 3 percent or more are instantly registered in the app. If no changes are made, the app checks with the system every eight hours.

Cigar Oasis Ultra 4.0 has an MSRP of $169, though consumers may save 5 percent if they purchase the systems directly from the Cigar Oasis web site. Later this year, the company expects to add Plus 4.0 and Excel 4.0, using the same SmartHumidor Wi-Fi technology, for larger humidors.
