La Aurora Cigars – The New Powerful Sun

As always, the La Aurora booth is a hive of activity. Gustavo Velayos, Marketing and Sales Director for Europe and Asia, shows me the company’s latest brand addition with great enthusiasm: the La Aurora Family Creed Series Fuerte Sol.

“We’re launching three formats; first the Robusto and the Toro, then the Gran Toro in the fall,” Gustavo explains to me.

Manuel Inoa then tells me about the tobaccos: Wrapper: San Andrés from Mexico, binder: Nicaragua and filler: Dom. Rep, Nicaragua, USA.

“In terms of taste, it takes a different direction to what we know from La Aurora, you’ll be amazed,” he says with a laugh. What’s more, the cigar is box-pressed and therefore stands out from the (La Aurora) crowd.
Let’s see what our blind tasting panel has to say about it soon; I’m certainly looking forward to it.
