Forged Cigar Co., a subsidiary of Scandinavian Tobacco Group, added two cigar lines to two of its most legendary brands.
El Rey del Mundo Appointment is created at the HATSA factory in Honduras using a blend of Cameroon seed wrapper leaf grown at the Aladino farm in Honduras, as well as a Connecticut Broadleaf binder and Nicaraguan and Ecuadorian filler tobaccos. Rich with herbal notes of mild pepper, caramel and cigar, El Rey del Mundo Appointment is medium-bodied and complex. “It’s the best cigar you’ve never had,” quips El Rey del Mundo’s senior brand manager, Ed Lahmann.
Now available in three sizes—Robusto (5 x 50), Toro (6 x 54) and Gordo (6 x 60)—El Rey del Mundo Appointment’s MSRPs range from $8.79-$9.49 per cigar.
Partagas’ newest cigar pays homage to the town where it is made. Y Nada Mas Santiago is a medium-bodied cigar made at the Tabacalera William Ventura factory using a Habano 2000 wrapper, Sumatra binder and Piloto, Corojo, Ecuadorian and Broadleaf filler tobaccos. Sweet and earthy, Partagas Y Nada Mas Santiago will be available beginning in the middle of May in three sizes: Robusto (5 x 50), Toro (6 x 52) and Gordo (6 x 60) with MSRPs ranging from $7.99-$9.99 per cigar.
