Procigar’s New School for Tobacco Workers Opens and Begins Classes

Plans for the school, launched in partnership with the National Institute of Technical and Vocational Training, were announced in October 2024, and now the facility is open and actively training future cigarmakers. The program has been designed to ensure the long-term sustainability of the Dominican cigar industry, among other goals.
