J.C. Newman Celebrates the 36th Diamond Crown Cigar Lounge

In Canton, Ohio, J.C. Newman Cigar Company celebrated the opening of its 36th Diamond Crown Cigar Lounge at OSI Tobacco before the NFL kicked off its 2025 season with the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game. Cigar enthusiasts from across Ohio gathered for an evening of featuring Diamond Crown luxury cigars and football.

“As a lifelong football fan, former player, and former referee, I was thrilled to be able to attend the opening of our newest Diamond Crown Cigar Lounge at OSI Tobacco in Canton last night” said third-generation owner Eric Newman. “Beginning at 6:00 p.m., 85 cigar lovers enjoyed our Diamond Crown Classic, Maximus, and Julius Caeser cigars before the National Football League kicked off its 2025 season at 8:00 p.m. with its famous Hall of Fame game between the Detroit Lions and the Los Angeles Chargers. Football and Diamond Crown cigars: life does not get any better than that!”

“Opening a new Diamond Drown Cigar Lounge at OSI Tobacco in Canton, Ohio was particularly meaningful for me because my grandfather founded our family business in Cleveland, Ohio in 1895,” said Newman.  “I was born in Cleveland and lived there until our family moved to Tampa in 1954.”
