Luciano Cigars has announced the release of Luciano the Maker, a new regular-production cigar that will become part of the company’s core portfolio, continuing a sequence of releases built around distinct human themes.
With The Maker, the focus turns to a fundamental distinction: the difference between intention and execution.
“In any field, there is a clear separation between those who think about doing something and those who actually do it,” said Luciano Meirelles. “That distinction is often overlooked, but it defines outcomes. The Maker was developed with that idea in mind.”
The release follows a progression established by earlier cigars in the Luciano line. The first, The Traveler, was introduced as a limited edition built around Pelo de Oro tobaccos from multiple regions under a Sumatra wrapper. It was followed by The Dreamer. Subsequent releases, such as Maria Lucia continued to explore different perspectives within the same broader framework.
The blend for The Maker brings together tobaccos from multiple regions. It features a Habano Corojo 99 wrapper from an undisclosed region, with binders from Ecuador (Sumatra seed) and Mexico (Mexico San Andres), and fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. It can be considered a Medium to full body cigar.
The Maker will be offered in two vitolas:
● Toro (6 x 52) MSRP: $12.50
● Sublime (6 ½ x 54) MSRP: $12.89
As a regular production release, The Maker is intended to serve as a long-term addition to the Luciano portfolio, expanding the company’s core line rather than a limited or one-time offering.
The Maker is scheduled to debut at PCA Trade Show 2026, with availability to follow through select retail partners. The estimated shipping date is May 25th.
