Nine Cigar Companies Sue for More Than $10 Million in FDA User Fee Refunds

Many of the family-owned cigar companies that helped fund the successful lawsuit against the FDA have asked for a refund in fees paid to the FDA from 2017-2023. Previously, the government estimated that lawsuits like this could result in more than $100 million in refunded user fees.
