I love me a good lancero. I was excited to try this. I got cocoa, leather and some forward black pepper. The construction on this was solid… I had to touch it up once but nothing bad. The flavors were good but nothing that really wowed me. Can’t complain at the price since lanceros command higher prices since they can be harder to roll. At a sub $5 price point you really can’t go wrong.

Started off with heavy black pepper which I was a bit surprised for a medium strength Lanerco. The black pepper tapered off 10 mins into the cigar. Despite it having a Cameroon wrapper, it didn’t have any of the Cameroon characteristics I have gotten from the Fuente Cameroon (bitter sweetness). One should let this one age a bit and I am sure it will balance out nicely.
