Gran Habano Cigars
Gran Habano is a four-generation family cigar brand rooted in a tobacco legacy stretching back to the 1920s, when the Rico family began growing dark tobacco in Colombia—officially launched in 2003 by father-and-son team Guillermo and George Rico out of their G.R. Tabacaleras Unidas factory in Danlí, Honduras, with headquarters in Miami, Florida. The core lineup features three numbered blends—Connecticut No. 1 (mild, Connecticut Shade wrapper), Habano No. 3 (medium-bodied, Habano wrapper), and the flagship Corojo No. 5 (full-bodied, Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper)—all built from Nicaraguan and Costa Rican long-fillers over Cuban-seed Nicaraguan binders, alongside expanded offerings like the Vintage series, delivering consistent, expertly crafted Honduran cigars with notes of anise, cedar, leather, cocoa, and peppery spice at an outstanding value.
