Wow. I recently had the pleasure of trying the Lampert 1593 Edición Oscura 6 x 52 toro size cigar, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed. This cigar is straight fire, expertly crafted with the finest quality tobaccos to deliver an exceptional smoking experience.
The two-year-old Mexican San Andrés wrapper gives the cigar a rich, dark appearance, and the three-year-old Indonesian Sumatra binder adds depth and complexity to the flavor profile. The three-year-old fillers from the Dominican Republic provide a smooth and satisfying smoking experience, and the blend is perfectly balanced.
The flavors are truly delightful, with notes of rum raisin, earthy peat, and hints of black licorice, all balanced by the bold flavor of espresso. The lingering sweetness of dried dates is a perfect finish to this exceptional cigar.

The Lampert 1593 Edición Oscura delivers a nice balance of sweet and savory flavors, with a rich taste that sits perfectly between dark cocoa , some sort of dark fruitiness and chocolate milk. The retrohale is smooth and easy, with no strong pepper notes, making it enjoyable and gentle on the sinuses. It’s a great, well-rounded cigar that’s both flavorful and satisfying. I am waiting to a restock so I can buy a box!

I guess sometimes I come down a little heavy on the maduros, but this one is a real winner. It opens like it means business with leather and dark chocolate edged with a bit of salt and minerality. The flavors are complex and full, but not overbearing, and there are some lighter notes on the retrohale. The cigar was full flavored and smooth from start to finish and the burn was a thing of beauty. Smoking time was about 1 hour and 50 minutes.
