I haven’t dived too hard into Lamperts portfolio, but I’m very impressed by this cigar. The first half of this cigar had a very creamy cedar note to it and the finish was this very dark bittersweet chocolate that reminded me of those dark chocolate raspberry bars. The retro was heavy on bakers spice. The second half had the cedar die down a lot and I got a lot of leather and mineral, with the retro giving off a little more of a bite to it. I’ll definitely be getting more of these, and it makes me exited to try more Lampert cigars.

I was introduced to Lampert cigars by a recommendation from Lucas and James to try the delicious, Azul (blue). This newest release, the Lampert 1675 Edición Morado cigar is an exceptional smoke that truly exceeded my expectations. This is the boldest, full flavor smoke from Lampert so far. From the moment I held it in my hand, I could tell that this was a premium cigar, crafted with care and attention to detail. The beautiful purple-hued and gold wrapper nods to being a regal cigar, and the aroma was rich and complex.
Upon lighting, the cigar produced a thick, blue smoke that had a wonderful flavor profile. The notes of charred steak, cedar and leather were prominent, with a subtle sweetness and a hint of spice that added depth and complexity to the overall experience. If you’ve tried the Blackened cigar this is similar, but more complex. The draw was perfect, allowing me to fully enjoy the flavors and aromas of the cigar without any harshness or bitterness.
The construction of the Lampert 1675 Edición Morado cigar was exceptional, with a solid and even burn that lasted for over an hour. Throughout the smoke, the flavors remained consistent and balanced, with no harsh or overpowering notes. Overall, I was extremely impressed with this cigar and would highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates a high-quality smoke. The Lampert 1675 Edición Morado is a true gem in the world of premium cigars and one that I will definitely be enjoying again in the future. 5-stars!

Inspection of this stick reveals a beautiful dark colored wrapper with an extremely gritty feel. There is a perfect amount of resistance after using a straight cut.
This one starts with a smooth milk chockalate draw. Retro delivers a blast of chocolate, white pepper, and malt. Savory finish that leaves my mouth salivating for more. The finish transitions to a sweet berry note as the cigar progresses.
Firm white chalky ash holds about an inch before falling. Razor sharp burn line. I can already tell you this is a box worthy smoke before I reach the halfway point. Flavors intensify but the body stays around medium+. I will definitely be picking more of these up in the near future.
