Trinidad Cigars (USA)
Trinidad is a Cuban-heritage cigar brand with roots tracing back to pre-revolution Cuba, now produced and distributed for the U.S. market by Altadis U.S.A. After the Cuban Revolution, the Trinidad family went into exile and partnered with the Fuente family to roll non-Cuban Trinidads in Tampa beginning in 1968, eventually selling the U.S. rights to Altadis in 2002. Today the brand features an evolving portfolio including the Trinidad Santiago—a 92-rated Dominican puro blended by José “Jochy” Blanco at Tabacalera Palma with notes of cocoa, earth, coffee, and anise—and the Trinidad Espíritu, a Nicaraguan puro crafted by AJ Fernandez in collaboration with Rafael Nodal, delivering medium to full-bodied Caribbean-inspired complexity across a celebration of tobacco, music, and Latin heritage.
