The New England Cigar Expo will witness the launch of the World’s Strongest cigar. Quite a claim, but the cigar, using the literal name, is a 6 x 56 ($12) and produced at Fabrica de Tabacos HVC S.A. factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.
“For the World’s Strongest cigar, we used the top leaves from the best regions in Nicaragua – Estelí and Jalapa,” Reinier Lorenzo, president of HVC Cigars, said in a press release. “We included a double binder from Jalapa’s Corojo 99, two ligero leaves from Jalapa, and visos and secos from Estelí’s Criollo 98, known for its strength.”The expo takes place on September 28.
