Macanudo is shipping the Emissary España, a 6 x 52 box-pressed torpedo ($17.99). It is the first expansion to the Emissary line.
The cigar features a five-country blend including a U.S. Connecticut Broadleaf Claro wrapper, a Nicaraguan Condega binder with a blend consisting of Dominican Piloto, Colombian, Nicaraguan ASP, and Spanish tobacco.
“For the Emissary lineup, we really wanted to pull out all of the stops and craft a cigar that epitomizes European sophistication,” Steve Abbot, director of marketing, said in a press release. “We are really happy with the result, and based on the popularity of the cigar, we wanted to come out with another great offering. We landed on a box-pressed torpedo, which brings out the best blend for a smooth smoking experience that highlights the rare tobaccos within.”
